FAQ: The Little Green Fork
Clear answers to your most common questions—so you’ll always know how our fresh, ready-to-eat meals and weekly pickup work here in Natchez.

Are the meals fully cooked? How do I heat them up?
Yes, every meal is fully cooked and ready to enjoy. With our microwave safe containers, you can just reheat and eat! You can also warm meals in the oven at 300° for 10–15 minutes, on the stovetop, or in an air fryer. Nutritious, delicious, and hassle-free.
What are the serving sizes?
Each meal is meant to serve one person unless otherwise noted in the menu description.
Where are the meals prepared?
All meals are cooked and packaged in our fully licensed, insured commercial kitchen right in downtown Natchez—locals cooking goodness for locals.
Are the meals ever frozen?
No—every meal is made fresh to order. If you don’t plan to eat it by the “enjoy or freeze by” date on the label, you can freeze it right away. Meals will keep well in the freezer for 4–6 weeks.
Are meals free from allergens?
We list common allergens on our order menu so you can make the best choice for your needs. While we do our best, our kitchen is not certified gluten-free or nut-free, so we can’t guarantee that every meal is completely free from allergens.
Can I place a one-time order?
Yes! You don’t need a subscription to enjoy our meals. Just browse the menu, pick your favorites, and place a single order for quick pick-up in downtown Natchez.
It’s the perfect way to try us out or grab a pre-ordered healthy, ready-to-eat meal anytime.
When do I need to order for the following week?
Our menu goes live Tuesday evenings. We don’t set an official cut-off deadline — meals are first come, first served. Once an item sells out, it will be marked online, so ordering early in the week gives you the best selection opportunity to snag our healthy, delicious dishes.
When is the food ready for pick-up?
Meals can be picked up at The Little Green Fork, 312 Main Street, in downtown Natchez, Sunday–Tuesday from 12–6 PM. We look forward to serving you on the go!
Do you deliver meals?
Not yet! At this time, meals are available for pick-up only, but delivery is something we plan to offer in the future.
Thanks for your patience as we continue to grow!
What happens if I need to cancel an order?
Because our meals are freshly made and perishable, we’re unable to accept returns, cancellations or exchanges once an order has been purchased. This helps us ensure every customer gets food that’s safe, fresh, and high quality.
If you notice an issue with your order, please check your confirmation right away and contact us at info@thelittlegreenfork.com so we can make it right.
What happens to leftover meals that aren’t picked up?
If any meals haven’t been picked up by 6pm on Tuesday, we donate them to The Natchez Stewpot — a local non-profit that helps feed members of our community in need. It’s our way of making sure nothing goes to waste and a little more goodness gets shared around Natchez. 💚
